Welcome to Sonoda Gakuen Women’s University/Sonoda Gakuen Junior College (SWU).
SWU is a tertiary education institution offering two year diplomas and four year degrees in nursing, education, nutritional sciences, health, sports science, confectionery, business. Sonoda Gakuen also consists of two kindergartens, a junior high school and a senior high school. We are located in Amagasaki, Hyogo only ten minutes by train from Osaka or Kobe.
SWU has a long history of building international relations and being a bridge from Japan to the world in particular with the Oceania region. The International Exchange Centre (IEC) handles all international affairs along with incoming and outgoing exchange programmes. The IEC’s goal is to offer meaningful and transformational programmes filled with real life expereinces that bridge the gap between cultures to our outgoing and incoming students.
